The SAILOR 4300 L-band antenna represents the next generation in maritime communication, being the first terminal in Cobham’s Iridium Certus Connected product line. Whether used as a high-performance, stand-alone solution to enhance your vessel’s communication capabilities or as a reliable backup to your existing VSAT system, the SAILOR 4300 is a smart and versatile choice.
The system includes two main components: an Above Deck Unit (ADU) and a Below Deck Unit (BDU), connected via a single coaxial cable with TNC connectors. It operates on DC power and is designed to support both voice and data communication.
The SAILOR 4300 utilizes Iridium OpenPort services, providing speeds up to 134 kbps for both uplink and downlink, and is also compatible with Iridium Certus 350 services, offering data rates of up to 176 kbps uplink and 352 kbps downlink. With 100% global satellite coverage, Iridium ensures dependable connectivity anywhere on the planet.
